Osama bin Laden
Assassinating Osama bin Laden was a justified decision as it would prevent him from possibly escaping and bring harm to others. An example would be Mas Selamat's escape from custody. Even though he did not bring any harm to others, he was very dangerous and anything could happen when he escaped. By assassinating Osama bin Laden, it would put a stop to his crimes and also prevent him from repeating his actions.

NS duty
National Service develops Singaporean boys into men by making them suffer under the same circumstances. One example would be the NS men being trained with people of other race and religion without any advantages or disadvantages. This makes the men suffer equally which causes them to be able to understand each other and know that people are equal. By being trained equally under the same training, Singaporean boys would be able to develop into men.

journal entry on war
When I was sitting in my boat with all my squad teammates, we were all shaking from the fears of war, some of my squad mates could not stand it and even vomited. Our squad leader gave us the order to charge to the beach and hide behind a barricade. You could see the nervous and worried faces on my squad teammate's faces. When the door opened signaling the start of the operation. Many of my squad mates were killed. The fear that I experienced at that time was indescribable. Sights of injured squad mates crying and screaming for help filled the entire coastline. It was an unpleasant sight. I was so scared and shocked at what I saw that I could not say a thing for awhile when my squad leader shouted at me ordering me to move forward. I executed the order and was fortunate to be able to reach the rally point. There, some people from our squad reported the situation to the headquarters and called for back-up. We had to survive until then. The time it took for reinforcements to come seemed like eternity to me. As I watched countless of my squad mates falling to the ground, I could not stop thinking about my family at home waiting for me. Then, the growling of friendly jet planes flew by and finally bombed the entire enemy base. The cries of victory filled the beach and I was relieved to have survived this ordeal. However, the cries and screams of my fallen squad mates haunt me to this very day and I would never forget the fears of war.

Social Media has made us less social. Do you agree?
Social media does not make us less social, it can be a platform to interact with our friends and also start a topic to talk about in school. One example would be if you ask your friend a question on a topic that you did not understand in school, you can always ask him again in school and also start interacting with him. When you ask a question, it could start a discussion on what type of answer best suits the question and keep on socializing from there. This way, the social media can make us more social instead of the opposite.

General Election
I think that the PAP has more teamwork than other GRCs. This is because the PAP candidates in the PAP poster are standing closer together. This can show that they are united and treat everyone as an equal which helps to improve their teamwork. However, the NSP poster shows their moto which says " Your Voice, Your Choice" which tells me that they would always think for the people and it helps them to help each other to work together for the people.
